She grew up in Småland in southern Sweden, with a father who was one of Sweden's largest Christmas tree producer since 1974 and a mother who is a gardener and florist. Anna says she grew up among Christmas trees, flowers and bees (her grandmother, who lived next door, was a beekeeper).
At the age of 12, she sold her first Christmas trees in Stockholm. Since then, her interest in Christmas trees has continued, and she is the founder and CEO of Smålandsgran, Sweden's largest supplier of Christmas trees with customers such as IKEA. With Smålandsgran, by Benson's journey also began with the first products that were Christmas tree stands and then it has continued with more products for the Christmas tree and later also the garden.
2022 by Benson won the award "Garden Product of the Year in Sweden". Quality, function, design and sustainability are the values that permeate Anna's way of creating and working. Today, the company is approaching 200 products and interest is very high. Worldwide. The product range is expanded and replenished with new self-designed products frequently. Actually, as soon as Anna experiences a need and demand, not least with herself, for something that does not exist. That's why by Benson is always on the move and never stands still. Just like Anna.
