Here's how to do it, step by step:
Step 1: Gather your materials
Make sure you have the following items ready: a frame, wire (avoid steel wire if possible so the wreath is 100% recyclable), different materials you want to use (e.g. leaves, flowers, berries) and a scissor.
Step 2: Cut them smaller
Prepare your material by cutting it into smaller pieces. This will make it easier when you later attach it to the frame.
Step 3: Attach the wire to the frame
Start by attaching the wire to the frame. It will serve as the base for building your wreath.
Step 4: Create small bouquets
Collect small bouquets of your material. Play with different colours and textures to create a unique look.
Step 5: Attaching the bouquets to the frame
Take one bouquet at a time and place it against the frame. Then wrap the wire around to secure the bouquet in place. Continue to do this around the entire wreath until you reach all the way round.
Step 6: Secure the wire
Once you have reached the end of the wreath, secure the wire by tying it at the back. Make sure it is firmly in place.
Step 7: Add a bowFinally, take a silk ribbon and tie a bow on the wreath. This adds a nice touch and makes it easy to attach the wreath to the door, for example.
As you design your wreath, let your creativity flow. There’s no right or wrong—only the beauty you bring into it.
